Is it possible to join multiple terrains into a single unit for editing?

I want to create a larger terrain than the stock version so I can edit it and manipulate it without losing resolution or adding distortion. Editing the single terrain is no problem, but to get the size I want necessitates resizing along all its axes which results in some rather funky-looking end results. I'd like to put together perhaps a 6x6 terrain that I can edit as a single unit, if that's possible.

Is there a way to do this in Bryce, or do I need to bring in another program for exporting or importing the terrains?

You can tile terrains. Disable the random options and follow a path (e.g. East - South - West). Keep the default size, assemble the terrains in the GUI, then group them and resize as needed. No additional program is needed.

  • I knew it had to be something obvious.

Just wasn't expecting it to be that obvious.

    Thanks, all!
