Updated to 4.6 none of my new content works

I finally updated to version 4.6, and got a couple of new items, but although 4.6 seems to run OK, I'm missing any of my new content that's related the Genesis 2 figure (the Mahala character and Genesis Easy Tail). I can, with some difficulty, find the files in the library, but when I try to load them, DAZ tells me:
The following files cannot be found:
/data/Oskarsson/EasyTail for Genesis/EasyTail/ReBuild01_2688.dsf
While this file is EXACTLY where the program says it should be!
I've downloaded both DAZ 4.6, the associated files, and the content several times and uninstalled and re-installed everything, but I can't get rid of this error.

Is 4.6 pointing to the correct library?
It looks like it is, but it seems the new installer, which I've never used before, installs everything in a directory where DAZ is not expecting it. I've very crudely solved the problem by manually copying the files where I think they should go (as I do with Renderosity products), and that seems to work so far.
If by the new installer you mean DIM, you can change where things install by going into the settings (cogwheel thingie in the upper right) and going to the settings tab. Highlight the default library and hit the minus sign at the bottom to remove it. Now hit the plus sign and name/browse to the location of the library you want things in. You can add as many libraries as you wish.
For content updates, I recommend using "install to respective installed paths" so you don't accidentally install an update into a library where the product isn't located (useful only for multiple libraries).
Also, if you're using multiple libraries, at the bottom of the Ready to Download tab, uncheck the 'install after download' option at the bottom and on the Ready to Install tab select the 'show details' option to bring up the library picker to choose the library to install the selected products to.
Thanks for your reply.
I'll probably have to do a nix & start again on my library because it's a mess (I keep copies of all my as-is downloaded content in a non-DAZ directory, as well as on a separate PC). I don't like the way DAZ installs content in subdirectories that make it hard for me to find the stuff. A lot of the content goes in directories that are counterintuitive or are nested according to product name or brand.
I'd like one directory for people, one for hair, one each for various types of props. I had scout around yesterday and I've got about twenty space ships in all different kinds of directories (because one can never have enough space ships). But when I search "ship", it only brings up two or three. I'd like to bring content into directories that make sense to me.
Also, and this is odd, did you know that you can now have more than one copy of DAZ open at the same time? You never used to be able to do that before.
Depending on how you're searching, there may be a reason for that. If you're searching using smart content, only items with metadata will show up. When DIM came out, I nixed my runtime as well and started over with it. I love being able to uninstall/reinstall at will without having to go hunting for things based on the readme.
Can't say I've tried to even open multiple copies of DS, never had a reason to. lol
Now having copies of both DS and Poser at once, that I've done on several occasions.
