I'm still around and occasionally render a picture or two. Since my hasty exodus from my former employer, my creativity had been consumed with trying to find a way to make a living. Unemployment is pretty fun, but the pay is lousy.
Thinking of myself Quixotically attempting to become a manufacturer of electronic toys, I was inspired!

Of course, the other day my inspiration took a completely different turn. After fighting a week with a bit of code that should have taken an hour, I took it out on the chip manufacturer's mascot.
And, of course, I spend a lot of time puzzled.
By a happy coincidence The Windmill is on Sale today.
That's great — just give it a quick twist of the z-rotation dial, and you can tilt it with no need to bother with those long pointy stick things.
Wait, did I get that right...? :smirk:
Dulcinea! I'll save you!
Ew! A girl?
I started to read Don Quixote a while ago. I love to read, but perhaps I'm too much of a modern brat to enjoy the antics of a geezer thinking himself a valiant knight righting wrongs and protecting the honor of his beloved. Of course, I draw the opposite. Trotwood is a powerless little kid who saves the world, rights wrongs and is put in his place any time the faerie girl shows up.
Looks like a Scandinavian (if you loom at the text).
The chip manufacturer is in Norway, and the mascot robot, "Tor" is supposed to be Norse. So I figured he would think in Norwegian.
I often start a post on their forum with, "Is today Monday?"
The text is Norwegian, "Is today Monday?"
I've been using their smaller parts for about 10 years. Thinking I might need more power for this project, I tried the "x" line of more powerful chips. It's been Monday all summer!
Great! Now I have show-tunes bouncing around in my head! (Guess which show? Go ahead, guess!)
