Question about Manual Download

Can I manually download...say...an article of clothing- an outfit for g3 or g2, for example- and place it in a file that I link to through Edit>Preferences>Content Manager>Daz Formats, and then use it to outfit a figure, like I would when I use a third-party product (when I place such a product in the Poser Formats path) ?

(I need a temporary solution to some Content issues I am having, until I solve the issue.)

Could I load an outfit or article of clothing, that way, like I do with some Poser products?

Yes, you can. The only thing you need to be aware of is that Daz zips include a top-level "content" folder that you need to remove, the actual content that you need to paste in your DS library is what is inside that "content" folder.

Yes, that seems to work!  ...Although not perfectly, it still seems to work pretty well, ...well enough to help a LOT, until I get my Smart Content-Content Library issues resolved.

    Thank you!
