AniMate 2 not installing on Mac *Solved*

Exactly what it says on the tin: Downloaded the 32-bit Mac installer for AniMate 2, and it wants to install to a non-existent directory for Daz Studio 3(?!). I try changing it to the DAZ folder in Applications, but the attached image is what I get every. single. time.

2017 iMac, with MacOS 12.0/Mojave, 64-bits, 32gb RAM, AMD Radeon graphics card

ETA: Well, clearly Google is a better documentation help than Daz's own documentation: you only have to enter the serial number in DS itself to activate it. This begs the question of *why* this wasn't mentioned on the product page or the download page in the first place. Daz, do better when it comes to this kind of stuff. Seriously. :/

For anyone else reading this thread. Get your serial number from your account page. You'll see the Serial number bit at the top right. Copy that. Go to Daz> Top Menu where you have File. Edit.... Choose 'Help'>'About Installed Plugins', Find Animate2 in the list on the left and enter your serial number. You'll be told you have to restart it to use it.

Why this isn't in the Read me I don't know! if it isn't it needs to be more obvious.
