Question about "Morpheus" and "Toon Generation 2".

I have a question.

I'd like to know how flexible the products, "Morpheus" and "Toon Generation 2", can be.

I need to create a cartoon like figure for my drawing reference.

I'm thinking about combining bits of pieces from "Morpheus", "Toon Generation" and G3 male figure like 30% Morpheus head, 50% Toon Generation head, 20% G3M head with G3M body. Moreover I'd love to adjust the percentage and the combination depending on the character I need for my reference.

Would it be possible?

I bought "Incantoo Warrior" and "Gade" the other day hoping to combine Incantoo Warrior head and Gade body (basically this is what I wanted to achieve in this case), then realized it didn't work (Just in case, both products are really great though). Making G's head invisible and replace IW's head instead could be one of the solutions (because it's just reference for myself and doesn't need to be perfect for rendering), but I just wanted to explore more possibilities, too.

It's almost possible, but not quite.

The Toon Generations2 is a full-body morph, there's no distinct Head and Body morphs. There ways to do what you want, but they're not quick and easy (at least not to me), but you should be able to use another product, X-Morphs (https://www.daz3d.com/x-morphs) to pull out just the head morph.

That said, you might find the the ToonGen2 body doesn't make that much difference, especially when you can can use other morphds to affect just the body. With DAZ's money-back guarentee, you might try purchasing just Morpheus and ToonGen2 and see if that gets you where you want to go before investing in X-Morphs. You might be surprised. wink

  • Thank you very much for the valuable information, wsterdan.

I checked X-Morphs (Gosh, embarrassingly I didn't know that). Indeed it seems that is exactly what I need for my project.

Well, yes, I'm going to try Morpheus and ToonGen2 first and see if they work.

Again, I really appreciate your information!
