Using Michael 3 things

Hello!  I am still a relative newbie.  I bought these tribal clothes:

And, they don't seem to work like usual clothes.  And, when i try and put them on my Genesis 8 Male it gets even crazier.  I looked at some SickleYeild videos and such, and I saw a thread saying that for Michael 4 clothes to put them on a Genesis, then gen 2, 3, and then 8 in that order and they would work, but that has not worked either.  Obviously, Michael 3 is not the Genesis 3 male because I never had this issue with those clothes before.  Thanks in advance!

Michael 3 cloths don't work on Genesis 8...because is not for Genesis 3 males ...it's from another generation....the 3rd...and Genesis 3 male is the 7th generation (in fact Michael 7 is the right Michael :) )

I know it's sound strange but the clothes you buy is for another generation, not currently compatible with Michael 8 ( Genesis 8 Male ) just simple :)

M3 is not Genesis 3, it’s a different figure released before M4 and all Genesis figures.

The various Genesis figures don’t include a clone to autofit M3 clothes. There are 2 options available in the store though:

https://www.daz3d.com/v3-and-m3-shapes-for-genesis => this gives you a clone to fit M3 (and V3) clothes to Genesis 1. You could then autofit the converted G1 version to G8M.

https://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofit-clones-expansion-for-genesis-3-male-s-and-genesis-3-female-s => this gives you a clone to fit M3 clothes to G3 (among a few other options). You can then autofit the M3 clothes to G3M then autofit the G3M version to G8M.
