Eyebrow Colour for G2 Female

Is there any easy way to change the colour of the G2 female's (or male's) eyebrows? Or is there a product specifically for this? I have the Skin-Builder for G2F but whenever I try to change the eyebrow colour I get "file not found" plus before I click the eyebrow window off I can see that the new eyebrows and colour are higher on the forehead than the original brows which remain unchanged, while using the slider to change the eyebrow height makes no difference to the height. The new eyebrows and colour then vanish once the eyebrow window is closed. So I'm looking for an alternative method.

Are you talking about the base G2F/G2M figures? Those figures (and most of the figures in the Genesis 2 generation) have their eyebrows painted on to their base textures. So to change the colour, you need to remove the painted brows - say with the Brow Remover product - and replace them with something else, either new painted brows or wearable brows with actual geometry. There are a few products that do that, but they mainly seem to be for G3 and/or G8. If you have Valzheimer's clone, you should be able to autofit G3F wearable brows to a G2F.

You should really be able to use the "Brow Builder" component of Skin Builder to add new eyebrows to a G2F once you have removed the old ones though.

  • Thanks Chris. I bought the Brow Remover (& added the V' clone to my wish list) and it works fine, but I have the same problem as mentioned above in that when I next try to add eyebrows in the Skin Builder I get the same "file not found" window come up regardless of the colour I choose for the brows, and when I try to locate the missing file it's given as "DSgreyback.jpg". Also as I wrote above, when I move the error message window out of the way and before I click it off, it shows the eyebrow colour chosen, but it's always halfway up the forehead regardless of the height level I set. Everything else in Skin builder works fine. It may be a submit a ticket job.

  • Sounds like there's somthing up with your installation of Skin Builder. Have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it via DIM?

  • I've tried the un- and reinstall and I still get that the file "DSgreyback.jpg" is missing.
