Almost every time I want to use the DIM, I get a message that "a new update is available". This means that instead of getting to work downloading, i have to sit and wait while the DIM downloads/upgrades. Is this really necessary? Is the make of DIM really upgrading every few days?

    I think since DIM has launched we've released a total of 4 updates, maybe 3. I honestly can't remember. Yes the updates are necessary, otherwise we wouldn't bother releasing them. No, there aren't updates every few days, more like once a month.

    If the Auto-update function is taking too long you can try downloading the latest installer for DIM and running it manually.
