D-force clothing w/o D-force?

I see most most of the later female g8 clothing  uses d-force. So the question - what will happen if someone doesn't use d-force when the clothing is made for use with d-force. Does it only matter for the animations or you cannot pose the clothed figure correclty w/o using it?

Most if not at all of the d-force clothing is also conforming like you are used too. So you won't run into trouble. However --some-- d-force cloths might be more limited, like lacking sitting morphs for instance. As I recall most product descriptions should give you more of a clue.

Waht will happen if I apply the transfer utility to such clothing?

If the clothing is already rigged either nothing or you may end up with worse weight mapping and bone set up. If it isn't already rigged then it may well be an item that won't work as a regular fitted item, so the transfer utility will not be terribly useful.
