Using a DAZ item in POSER

May I ask for advice please?  I have a cartoon type figure in my DAZ library entitled 'Base Figure' Large round head, skinny arms and legs, the basis of the Little Soldiers bundle. Is it possible to transfer this figure into POSER together with its relevent clothing items and if so, how should I proceed?

Thank you for your attention.

Is that the bundle you're talking about? https://www.daz3d.com/little-soldiers-bundle

If so the figure would be Toon Generation Base: https://www.daz3d.com/toon-generations-base

Both the figure and clothes are provided in Poser format (the ".cr2 and .obj" listed on the product page), so definitely usable in Poser. You can either reinstall them to your Poser Runtime, or simply add your DS content directory as an additional Runtime in Poser, and then you should find them in your Poser library.

Download the Toon generations base bundle manually and then extract it to a temp folder on your computer.   Check withing the content foder and you should find a runtime folder,  copy and paste the contents of this folder into your Poser Runtime of choice.

  • Thanks Chohole, been a while since we last communicated, how yuh doin'? Hope you have a great Christmas. - Robert.
