Pro bundle and lower tier bundles

So... searched and couldn't find the answer to this kinda annoying issue.

Why, when I own the Pro bundle for characters, that the Starter bundle keeps showing up in listings (even though all content is owned).

Is there a way for Daz to link the Base model and the Starter bundle to the Pro bundle? Gets annoying at times.

I know.. little things.. but it's all about the detail really.

I hate that too. I already asked about this several times and didn't get a satisfactory answer. DAZ doesn't flag the starters as purchased if you already own the pros since they're a different SKU. Technically speaking, the starter bundle is not part of the pro bundle. DAZ doesn't like selling bundles within bundles.

On the flipside, same thing happens when you buy the contents of a bundle separately. Say, bundle Z contains X and Y. Buying the individual items X and Y will not flag bundle Z as purchased. I kinda understand this since some bundles offer exclusive items not available for those who buy piecemeal.

AFAIK "bundles inside bundles" causes problem with the e-commerce software Daz uses as base of the store. That's the reason why the Starter Bundle is not actually part of the Pro Bundle, and so is not flagged as purchased when you purchase the Pro Bundle.

A workaround is to install the Daz Deals browser add-on and use it to hide the Starter Bundles corresponding to the Pro Bundles you have (it has quite a few other useful features, so it's worth installing anyway).

Thanks for the tip Leana. much appreciated. Shame bundles within bundles causes issues.
