Repeated Daz Crashing

I have Daz 4.9. I do series work and lately when I do a spot render, it might crash. Change a characters clothing, crash, move a character in the scene...crash. It's not ALL the time but when I get home tonight, I will be working in Daz for at least 3hrs and I anticipate it crashing at least twice. I save as often as I can so i don't lose to much work/production time. I render in Iray, have a GTX 960 and 24GB of RAM. Both of which have served me fine since I've been using Daz (not that an upgrade wouldn't be amazing!) Should I maybe un-install and then re-install? Does Daz get buggy like that? And if I do, am I at any risk of losing access to my material library? I install using DIM and I don't argue with where it puts my stuff. As long as I know where they are, I'm good. I spent a good 15min last night getting a hand pose just right and instead of saving, I got excited and did a spot render. Guess what happened.

Any wisdom would be much appreciated.

    Do you have a backup copy of 4.9?  If you don't it will automatically take you to 4.10 if you uninstall and re install.
