How to layer transparent png over a shader in iray

HI everyone maybe the title is not very clear but i will explain. That make weeks i try to put a png image with some transparency over a shader but i never have the result i want to obtain.
What i try to do i that:
I make this png on gimp which fit with uvmap of the object i made ( the white part are transparente)
When im on daz i apply a gold shader ( in uber base mode) on a part of my mesh then in base color i put my png. And in view port i have something like this
This is basicly the result i want to have. The shader and on it all the inscription i made in my png.
The problem is that when i render i have something like that which not correspond to what i want.
If i render as ou see the gold shader disappear and i only have part of the png which appear.
I try various thing like use a translucency map in translucency weight the result was close but not totally what i wanted. I try the layer image editor , the cutout opacity but i cant have the result im looking for.
I mean the shader and the png over it. Hope i was clear enough.
So if you have tips ideas or even tutos, i hear you

Rather than using the PNG alpha, make a separate greyscale opacity map to act as a mask (white where you want the overlay, black elsewhere) and - for this - aply to Diffuse Overlay.
I try what you said and visibly that work. Weeks i was on it and you gave me the solution in 1 sentence.
thank to you i will sleep less idiot tonight.
Thanks again richard
