...still rebuilding my runtine/library after a HDD meltdown as well as doing some fine tuning and upgrades so will be a bit before l'll be able to set up a few scenes.
Would love to find an accurate pipe organ of about this size (below) to fit inside that doesn't cost 100$s at a pro site.
i would like to say i enjoy the violen set but (and i sent a personal message) i thought id post here.too
i got the HD violen set...and while it is a very high quality item and im glad i got it...and look foward to completing the "set" so to speak of the instruments in the future.......
there are some issues for me.
first loading both the bow and violen do not seem to work like regular props........they load at the base of you.... instead of being attached to your hands as would normally with other props.....
the second main issue and the bigger one perhaps as it seems to be an actual error........when you click on the pre-load option to i assumed
load the bow and violen to your charecter......instead it loads a completely NEW figure .........and worse is the shape /body of the figure (at least for the violen HD set) is a body that i do not have...........nor was it listed in the store decription as being required
(still can use it..just gives you an error or not having the body)
also it would be nice if you change the hand position of playing the violen if the violen itself could also move for some way...dunno if thats possible but i know some smart props can move the prop as well i think......maybe?
either way a great product none the less. just some of those issues would be nice to fix in an update

Just picked this up.
The HDVP loadall version for G8F version kicks up some can't find errors. Shame its not fixed after all these months.
Poses don't seem to work either.
It may not have been reported to Daz or the PA.

You might still want to file a ticket. Since the issue was being handled as a PM thing between @Evenios and @Protozoon, the chain may have fallen apart, and the fix, if any, may not have reached the store. (Well, clearly didn't, but we can't know why.) In any event, filing a ticket will produce an official record to track. Whatever happens after that, at least you'll know that Daz is officially aware of the issue.

Posting in the forums is one thing, but if you want to have something fixed by Daz you need to open a support ticket.
I've not had a problems using the Violin with G8 males and females. There are some instructions incuded with the product, with three options given as to how to set things up. I found the one where the violin, bow and figure are all posed seperatly and then parented after to work best, at least for me. After getting everythig set up all the other poses worked fine on both males and females. It's a great product. The pose and expressions look good. The violin itself is very detailed with lots of materials options. A lot of work must have gone into it.
Understandable. For what it's worth, it's not a hugely difficult fix. It needs to be resaved as a wearable with an embedded hierarchical pose. Jen Greenlees has a video tutorial that walks you through the process. In this case, you'd probably want to start with the Load All preset to get the figure into the scene with the items, then follow the steps in the video.

Well I’d like to return the threat to its original topic and thank Protozoon for their fantastic Auditorium and other products. I picked up the Violin product on sale at an extremely reasonable price and think it’s fantastic.
Its not that I want to return it the item is particularly well done, but I'm tired of broken content that doesn't get fixed, so I return an item and tell sales why I've returned it, if we don't let them know there are problems then there is the danger that things somewhere will get even more relaxed and complacent.
Yet just a couple posts ago, you declined to submit a help ticket on this item, which is actually the proper procedure for addressing issues like this.

I have looked into this and made wearable presets to load the bow and the violin as smart props ike in my other products. The product should be updated in a week or so.
It may be the proper procedure but it doesn't work most of the time and dispite tickets being filed things don't get fixed, so I 'vote with my wallet'.

And will the can't find error be fixed, I realise it doesn;t effect the product but it is a bit annoying
Yes. The wearable preset doesn't load the base character anymore. Just the violin and the bow in place and parented to g3 or g8, ready to pose.
(Btw. I couldn't find anything related to the can't find error. I might have a clue what caused it. Could you check if you get any errors in the log when loading just the base genesis 8 female figure. I get some related to Young Libby character even though I don't have it.)
I do get some errors in the log but they all relate to ported over morphs nothing to do with Charlotte 8, which I don't have.
