PostgreSQL CMS won't connect in Daz Studio

Hello,

I had DAZ Studio running, and recenty upgraded my hard drive and re-installed from the backup.    I can't get the DAZ Smart Content to show up.  I have uninstaled and reinstalled the entire app, as well as the PostgreSQL app from the DAZ Install Manager.  With no luck.  The log file shows it is connecting to the CMS system at some point, but it is not workin gin the DAZ Studio app.  I am attaching the log file for those who might be able to use it to help.

    So you are installing with DIM? Are the database-driven views in DS (Smart Content, Content Library Categories and Products lists, Preset tabs of property panes) empty, do they have catgories but no content, or is the content listed but with exclamation marks (indicating the files aren't being found)?

    Yes, I am installing with DIM... First the Daz Studio, and then the PostgreSQL.   The Smart Content pane is empty (no expclaimations) - my content panel shows my own downloaded content fine.

    OK, well DS can't see PostgreSQL - note the Start CMS button at lower-right of the Smart Content pane. If you look in the list of running processes (I can't recall its name for the mac, but a Task Manager equivalent) do you see (usually several) PostgreSQL starting with DS?

    That's called Activity Monitor on the Mac - I have attached a list of the process runnng under Daz Studio.   The Daz installer works fine, which seems to use PostgreSQL also.

    I'm not sure PostgreSQL would appear under DS - it's a separate process (usually several) that communicates with DS using IP. Do you see it if you have Install Manager running?

    Install manager works fine and shows in the threads.   I can login and get new packages.
