Dynamic Clothing Control DIM issue [Resolved]

I thought I'd nab the Dynamic Clothing Control at a rare 50% off today. However, when I tried to install it via DIM I got the following error message:

Install Manager cannot find a required path. The installer for "Dynamic Clothing Control for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit) Public Build" requires that the installed path for "DAZ Studio 4.x Public Build (64-bit)" be defined. Make sure that a path for this application is present on the "Applications" page of the "Settings" dialog, then try again.

But my DAZ Studio 4.5+ 64-bit path is set up correctly as far as I can make out (C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4).

Eventually I had to manually download the .EXE file and that installed OK.

Has anyone else had this problem and is it a known issue?

The DIM version is for the Public Beta, not the production build - it's a confusing description. Use the old-style Bitrock installer for the non-beta version of DS (or use the beta version of DS).

I tried manually installing the Dynamic Clothing Control for 64 bit Windows and it still couldn't find the path.

Which version(s) of DAZ Studio do you have installed, and how did you install them?

The new release of DS does have the Dynamic Clothing Control in DIM now.

I noticed that after I updated DAZ Studio (4.6.1.17) it lost the path to The Dynamic Control and thought I only had the Basic Version. But the new DIM download installs it correctly now.

I have DAZ version 4.6.0.18 for 64 bit. I'll try updating. Thanks.
