Is the transfer utility enough?

I am considering the purchase of Marvelous Designer, but I'm confused on content creation. Once I make something - say a shirt, will the transfer utility be enough to make the item conforming? I've been doing searches all day practically and I'm not sure of the answer still.
I understand I may have to pull the obj into blender or hexagon to fix the quads MD produces. I'm kinda stumped on what to do after I bring it in to Studio. In my mind it seems simple but something telling me it not that easy.
Now, if its not, where can I find the info I need to learn how to do this?
Thank in advance for anyones assistance!

Transfer Utility is all you need to make it conforming, but it may not bend in a manner you like. I think you might also have to edit the weight maps, especially if the clothing is not real close fitting. Weight map editing is an art, I think. I've never developed the skill. You may also need to make Joint Controlled Morphs (JCMs) to deal with ill-fitting areas and pokethrough when bones bend.
You could also use dForce.
Okay, thanks for the input. Ill look into weight mapping and all that goodness.
Okay, purchased Marvelous Designer. Also bought way to much Daz content today lol. Several of which were tutorials I found to address the above concerns. I got these, in case anyone else is stumped like me:
The Ultimate Guide to Creating Complex Outfits Bundle
Creating and Working with dForce
Not to mention the other goodies I got. :)
Hopefully I'll be able to post something in the near future that looks half-way decent.
Good luck. It sounds like you have the right attitude to be successful. I recommend the Esha tutorials on creating content, too. I have some of those, but neither of the ones you mentioned. (I don't have MD, either.)
If you make something really tight for your first outfit, like a bathing suit, the transfer utility will generally do a good job without extra morphs etc. Particularly if you leave the thighs and shoulders bare (bendy areas have more problems). And you can tell MD to make quads instead of tris in the surface properties of your cloth.
Thanks for the words of encouragement @barbult its much appreciated.
@Canary3d I saw the bit about quads in MD's description. I was planning on making something like a swim suit for my first project. Something simple that can help me get used to texturing, ect.
Once upon a time I purchased WAY to many programs and have no idea how to use them all. This is my way of grabbing the bull by the horns and gives me a reason to buckle down and learn them. :)
