Weight Mapping Problem: Help!

A little segment of a top I'm working on pulls out when the arm goes up. I started to remap the general weights, but I can't get rid of the problem. It looks like a couple of polys are linking to the upper (shoulder) part of the arm, but those maps are blank. The problem was there before I added anyting to the collar map, and I've smoothed that selection many times to make sure the sticking out polys don't have extra weight compared to the adjacent ones.

Any ideas about what might be causing this, and/or a solution?

The attached images show the geometry without the arm raised, then the maps for relevant sections.

  • Are you sure it isn't a projected JCM? Try selecting the outfit with the issue showing, then go to the Currently Used  group in the parameters pane with Show Hidden properties enabled in the option menu and zero the morphs that are active to see if they clear the effect.

  • Thanks, Richard. That was the problem.
