Hi guys

I'm new to Daz. Today I installed and thought I can work with it but all I get is this:

I don't understand this. Why are the dsf files missing?

I already looked for help on the internet but all the explanations are really confusing. Can you please explain to me what I should do? I can't work with those square things.

First, please don't "bump" you requests - they should get answered in due course, as long as the needed information is there.

Now, the error is saying you are missing the files for the base Genesis figure so either you didn't download and install Genesis Starter Essentials or you did but the folder you installed to isn't set as a DAZ Studio content directory. The first thing to check is that you did in fact download and install the content - if you used the links in your Product History then look at the bottom of the DAZ Studio page for a number of separate packages you will probably want - certainly the two "essentials" and the SSS Shader.

Unfortunately if the download is not completing there isn't much anyone else can do - all we can suggest is downloading, directly from your Product Library page since you presumably won't be able to install DIM on another system, and place the zip file in the downloads folder so that DIM can see and unpack it.
