Accidentally Uninstalled Genesis 8 Starter Essentials!

Yep, I accidentally uninstalled "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials", but I'm baffled as when I went to my Product Library in hope of reinstalling it all of the products which are a part of the package and which can be installed via the DIM I haven't lost! But I must me missing something as prior to the accidental uninstalling I had 1419 products showing on the DIM and now I have 1418.
Backstory: I have an ongoing unresolved issue with the G8 Male and I've been awaiting a reply from customer services since 6th November, then today I received a notification that they consider the issue solved as I didn't reply to their last reply when in fact I did reply and have the copy of my reply and the issue isn't solved. They said if I have any further issues I need open a new ticket, which is very peeving. So instead of starting from scratch again I decided to uninstall the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials Male" and the reinstall it, hoping the problem would solve itself. It was a bad idea as I did so peeved and as a result I didn't pay attention and accidentally uninstalled the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials". After that I did uninstall the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials Male" and I then reinstalled it, but it didn't solve the previous problem - the same error still occurs - so I then went to reinstall the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials" only to find that on my Product Library Page all of the products which are a part of the package and which can be installed via the DIM I haven't lost. Thus I'm baffled as to exactly what I've uninstalled!
Prior to uninstalling anything I had 1419 products showing in the DIM; after uninstalling the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials" and the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials Male" I had 1417 products showing; then after reinstalling the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials Male" I had 1418. So I have uninstalled something and there's no "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials" showing in the DIM; but as said on the "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials" page there's nothing installable via the DIM which I don't still have. So what am I missing?!

Genesis 8 Starter Essentials is the ersion isntalled via Connect (the Install pane or one of the Product lists inside DS). Genesis 8 Male Starter Essentials and Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials are the same content split into spearate packages for Install Manager. So, by the sound of it you had the Connect install (or at least, DS thought you did) and that was stopping DS from reading the Install Manager files (which is probably the root of your problem). That woudl also account for the rduced product count in DIM if Connect installed is unchecked in The Download Filters (assuming the change was in the Ready to Download tab). If you uninstall the Connect version (right-click on the product in DS, select Uninstall) does the Install Manager version then work? What are your content directories set to (Edit>Preferences, in the Content tab click Content Directory Manager and then take a screenshot showing all of the paths)?
Edit>Preferences>Content>Content Directory Manager all seems to be as it should be. Under 'Daz Connect' are exactly the same files as are under 'My Daz 3D Library'. The only place where "Genesis 8 Starter Essentials" appears is in 'Smart Content' where it shows as installed. That's baffling as I accidentally uninstalled it in DIM and now it doesn't show in DIM. I'm confused because I don't appear to me short of anything, when 'logic' says I must be if I uninstalled it!
As I said, if it's installed via Connect then even if uninstalled it won't show in the Ready to Download tab of Install Manager if Connect installed is unchecked in the Download Filters dialogue (it woulds till show in ready to install if you had the zip, and if it was the current version while working online).
Okay. Thanks very much Richard. I now have it reinstalled and the correct number of products is showing in the DIM.
