Can You Use Figures Meant For Other Characters?

Hi everyone! :D
Sorry for the noob question!

I wanted to buy these products: https://www.daz3d.com/gigi-for-charlotte-8 and https://www.daz3d.com/parisa-for-zelara-8
But I don't have Charlotte/Zelara 8, nor I'm planning to buy them in the future. Would I be able to use these figures anyway? I have victoria 8.

    The base materials would work (but not any materials for the spineal thingy on Zelara). The shapes, however, would presumably be diffrent as they would lose whatever contributions the named character made. If you find the big release threads for the figures there may be others who asked, and images showing how the character looks witho only the base Genesis 8 Female.

    That's what I wanted to know!

    I didn't think about checking those threads! I found the one for the first figure, and nobody asked. For the other one I've found no threads.

    Richard is right.
    I purchased "From Russia", which was made for Rune 7, which I didn't have at the time.
    Using the characters with Genesis 3 base worked very well, textures and all.
    There was some difference when I used them with Rune 7, but only when posed together.
    Looking at them alone, I wouldn't have noticed.
    I assume it will work the same way with Genesis 8.
