Liquid armor help

Hello

I'm using the liquidarmor gloves for G8F: the G8F hand disappear (not the eye icon in the scene list). If I delete the glove the hand appear again.

I don't know where to find the option to make the hand appear with the glove as I want to use a semi-transparent material on the glove and see the hand inside.

Thanks for your help and I wish a happy and creative new year to everybody !

I noticed the same thing. The hand is designed to disappear because the gloves were made smaller than the gloves, so the creator made the hands disappear to eliminate poke through. It's a decent work-around, except when you want to use transparent/semi-transparent materials. Unfortunately, there isn't much way to make it work.

I forced the hands to reappear (which isn't easy for me), and then I tried to increase the scale of the gloves to fit, but nothing worked well.

    Hello sjroste

How did you found a way the make the hand appear ? As I didn't found my workaround was to use a geoshell. Complicate but it was enough for me.

Pokethrough was not important for my project as I applied slime material to the liquid armor.

  • Hi I am trying to use one of the jelly materials from this set on the gloves.

but the hand cannot be seen?

haw can i make the hand show?

    Hello myotherworld

As I have no clue, the trick I found was to use a geoshell for Genesis: offset to 0. I checked  "off" for all parts except the hands and applied the character material to the geoshell.

    That did it for me

  • Or make a duplicate of the figure in the same pose, which ISN'T wearing the glove.

  • thanks

I will give both ideas a try

The advantage of geoshell is: if you move/morph the character, the geoshell will follow.
