How do you use pwGhost?? This UI needs some serious revamping.
I can't find documentation referred to in forum (my install was done by manager). I don't see how you add pwghost to hair, they hair wasn't attached, and she looks blue with dark fingernails, toenails and eye sockets. ARGH! Everything I try to do via this app takes so much longer than it should because the content library and smart content is a mess, it lacks documentation and links to it from product page. Why do we have to double click on the Genesis icon to open it up to see products that fall under it? Why isn't there a way to filter Actor / Material / Pose / Etc. Many products are either not categorized or miscategorized. What a mess, this UI needs some serious help. I had to vent! Wasting my time, maybe it's time to put it away for another year :)

You will find the Readme in your README folder listed as ReadMe_4345_1.2_pwGhost.html . It will open in your default browser with links to all the sections. I just Installed a NEW copy with DIM so I know it is installed with the other content. TIP: Read the info and PLAY to really see what each setting does.
I Hope this helps.
Try using the Content Library rather than Smart Content if you find the latter unhelpful - it may suit you better (\People\Genesis\various subfolders for different types of item, with each model item usually having a subfolder for materials).
Thanks for the feedback! Can I get to the product Read Me pages from the DAZ UI?
I can never find the actors easily. For UX they should be in Content Library > People > Michael 4 but there are no actors in the results for that folder or any of it's subfolders. Please advise :)
No, Poser format items will be in the Poser libraries, and usually split up as required by the Poser application before version 8. The figures go in Poser Formats>>Figures>DAZ People.
Most of the pw shaders include a tutorial, which guides you through applying the shader and what the settings do.
Note that if you manually install pwGhost, rather than using DIM, there are special instructions because some, but not all, of the files that get installed in the directory you specify actually need to be installed the DS program's folder instead. This also means that if you ever completely wipe the DS folder, you'll need to reinstall those files.
To reinstall, unzip the product into a temp folder, locate the top level folder named something like “DAZ Studio_4.5;4” or “DAZ Studio_4.5;4;4.x Public Build;4.x Private Build”, then manually merge those files and folders with the same folders where DS is installed. What's left over can then go wherever you wanted to install the content originally.
I'm starting to think the OP may not have the DIM folder mapped to DAZ Studio yet.
