It was when I downloaded DS 4.8, along with Mil Cat, Mil Dog, Mil Big Cat, M4 and V4 and Genesis 1 & 2. These (apart from Genesis 2) were also free in the previous version on my old computer (might have been DS4.6? Can't remember). I assumed these were standard starter figures to get you going and were always free?

Hi Modern Wizzard. If you still search for Socks: I made a Pair for Genesis 2 Females. They can be changed into different types and have a morph to "Roll them down" as well. You'll find tem here if you still look for them:

This is going to sound weird, but I am doing Olympic related renders. I have for a track, but  now I want  a water hazzard for the steeplechase?  This one is very easy and I can texture it myself.

Just grab the .obj format zip, second from the bottom, imports into DS and Poser with no fuss at all and takes shaders/materials perfectly.  In DS make sure the shader you're using has the smothing angle very low, like between 1 and 5 instead of the normal 89 something.  In Poser make sure you turn off the object's render time smoothing and change the angle to between 1 and 5 as well (2nd page of the object properties tab when you have it selected)

I used them in this promo, super nice props.

Hello ,

 

I am desperately wanting for daz studio a  russian head scarf for a babushka for an animation I am doing  . I cant make clothes and cant find this anywhere . It doesnt have to be free.

Picture below. I would be so grateful to find one , it doesnt have to be free . I need to be able to morph it .  I am happy to pay someone to make it for me and they can share it etc . I find it so hard to find historical costumes that are not sexualized.
