Also, I am looking for the continents of the world in 3d. I never really thought about there being models out there until I had a friend asking about them.
Dan
For something the size of a continent the height would be virtually flat and could best be represented with texture and displacement maps. For global 3D surface textures and displacement check here: http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/earth.php. These can be applied to a sphere.

Are you asking for that on a sphere, or on a wall map model? If you want it on a sphere there are some available, though right off hand I cannot recall what they are named or where i saw them. will need to do some searching with my limited skills using search engines. It may be possible to find a texture map set that can be applied to a sphere!
You're quite welcome. I hope you found some stuff you like.
@mjc1016: I don't know how I missed that Lunch Box, because I check ShareCG every day. Got it now though, and thanks big time!
Hello, this website was limited for shoes for G3F but I found some good stuff after some research on other websites.
Now I'm looking for hair for G3F, especially buns, ponytail or haircut above the shoulders.
Thank you in advance :)
I suggest you follow the links given by Chohole. I have found a lot of great hair through the links found at those locations.
Speaking of hair, have you tried manually fitting hair to figures it was not made for? The reason I ask is that I have had good success about 95% of the time, from hair for Millennium 3 figures all the way up through the Genesis 3 figures. I can even fit Genesis 3 Hair to Millennium 3 figures. This if you are able to do it successfully, will give you a much greater variety of hair for all of your DAZ figures, and even for some of your 3rd party figures.
Hello !
I'm trying stuff with what I found already. I was just looking for a bit of hope here lol.
I've still some fitting issues sometimes (hair going through the face and stuff) but I'm keeping progressing and finding new options.
Thank you
One thing I suggest when you load a hair from a different figure to use on the one you have in the scene, make sure that your figure is not selected. This will allow the hair to load as a stand alone. Then you can move and scale in all three axes. Once the hair looks right on your figure, open the hierarchy on the figure in the Scene Tab to the head. Then drop down to the Hair in that same tab, select it and continue to hold down the left mouse button, and drag up to the figure's head. Drop the hair onto the head and it will be parented to that head. Any morphs and rigging will remain in the hair so you can use those controls in the normal way.
BTW, Genesis 2 Hair can often be fitted to Genesis 3 using the fit to option. Some adjustment may be required after doing so for some hair products.
Some time back I had a URL for a site that had a whole bunch of great models on it, including a ton of Japanese style lanterns and lamps, furniture, and construction styled models.
But, I lost the link. I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping maybe someone might know the site I'm talking about.

I am working up a scene between women, one is a rather sophisticated character; a lot of her body language is built around her smoking; and a Old School (preferably Silver) Cigarette case would be perfect for her. If anyone knows where I can down load one for free or for a reasonable price for the prop please let me know BB.

OMG, Poseruniverse! That's the site! While it seems that a LOT of the downloads still work, sadly the ones I was after do not.
But knowing where they're from might help me find them on my old drive.
I'm looking for a V4 face and hair that resemble the Statue of Liberty's. Doesn't have to be perfect, but it would be nice to get close. (I've asked this elsewhere because I'm open to paying for something I like, but free would be great, and people who answer here tend to be very knowledgable. I have the Miss Independence skin and props, and I've made the V3 Mediterranean dress fit V4, which is good enough for my needs.)
Okay, this might seem a little odd but I'm trying to find a way to create a similar hairstyle to one from an anime.
I've been looking for a way to do this for a while now, but keep drawing a blank. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. Oh, and for this it can be non-commercial use as well.

Hi Chelle,
DAZ was selling bundles a while ago really cheaply, and I got one with Austin Hair in it. Do you have it? Not free, but it is a DAZ Original, so with your monthly coupon, it will set you back about $1.50.
I was fiddling around with backgrounds a while ago, and made these. Is this the look your after?

But if you want global Global Digital elevation data check here: http://vterrain.org/Elevation/global.html
ETA. You can also get digital elevation data for most areas of the US from them USGS: https://nationalmap.gov/elevation.html

Hi !! Thanks for the tip I'll try it out :)
Anyone know of a free chicken. Need one as a background prop so it doesn't necessarily need to be rigged
Free including obj format which can be imported ; not really great but maybe OK for background:https://www.cgtrader.com/free-3d-models/animals/bird/chicken--8
Another freebie but not very detailed; Includes obj file which can be imported: http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/max-chicken/1065691
Free but in sketchup format which will have to be converted to obj: http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-chicken-sketchup/384456
Free poseable rubber chicken: http://trekkiegrrrl.dk/char4.htm
http://www.lynescreations.com/lynesfree8.htm
Any clothing\gowns for a female judge (G3F if possible)? Free or paid.
Possibly use Wilmap"s graduation gown: https://www.wilmapsdigitalcreations.co.uk/view_product.php?id=98
or a free one for V4:http://www.sharecg.com/v/44618/browse/11/Poser/Judges-Robe-for-V4
I didn't think to check Lyne's creations. Those are perfect. Thank you.
Never mind.Please delete this post.
nvm, found them.

so is it this one: https://web.archive.org/web/20160307101247/http://edogoyomi.art.coocan.jp/projects/index.html
or this one: http://www.geocities.jp/halrunman1/
No, but the second one is a different link I'd lost so, I thank you for that!
Maybe: http://www.3dchaya.com/
Otherwise here is a comprehensive list of websites with free items: https://poserdazfreebies.miraheze.org/wiki/Freebie_Sites Maybe you could look through it and see if you recognize the site you are looking for.
Cigarette Case.

I would try using this. http://www.sharecg.com/v/22335/browse/5/3D-Model/Presentation-Case with some metalic shaders such as Allen Art's rings shaders - http://www.sharecg.com/v/85286/gallery/11/Poser/Rings-for-Victoria-4 I would also use some of her jewelry props to decorate the top of the box.
TY so much Dolly, I do believe I'll be able to do something with those too. : )
Sadly no, and after pouring through that list of links I couldn't find it there either.
I knew tracking this site down would be a long shot. heh
You might try going through Kerya's list: http://alexis-beads.lima-city.de/linksfun.html
If you can get more detailed about what was on the site you might get a hit that way, as well.
Honey? http://edogoyomi.art.coocan.jp/projects/3dmodels/
or Poseruniverse: http://web.archive.org/web/20081004203138/http://www.poseruniverse.net/Models2/Models5.html (I don't know whether the downloads still work)

Thanks everyone for helping me with this one!
I am looking for a British Police Womans uniform - if you know of one free or cheap could you please leave the details here. Thanks.

The only Liberty props I know of is for Cookie: http://trumarcar.francemi.net/cookiechip_tc.htm (scroll down or hit ctrl+f and search for liberty).
Thanks! I've played with the size and the zscale for that hair, and I'm liking the result so far.

Not free, but very similar: http://www.daz3d.com/anime-hair
Its not exactly anime but there is also this in the store: http://www.daz3d.com/pure-hair-messy-for-genesis. Its not free but it was part of the Young Teens Pro bundle if you got that.
