From left to right you can see improvements.
    There is still an issue in the door; you see the diagonal line;

these look great! All I need is a hat and a tommy gun so I can hang out the window and yell "Eat lead you doity rats!"

    Hat:

    Tommy gun:

(I suppose the comment could have been rhetorical, but this is the Freebie Request thread... ;-P )
It started out rhetorical but those models are excellent and too good to pass up!

Is there a compilation of V3/ M3 Freebies? I looked at the compliation of links to Freebies, and there were lists for m2/ v2, m4/ v4 as well as for A3 and H3, but nothing for V3 and M3.

    Did I just overlook something?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately the old lists contained so many dead links that It was not worth transferring them over.

Dark Angel, I went through the list of clothes by Sanbie and Deni that I have and NitaB had and there is no poodle skirt. Your best bet is to ask Sanbie at PFD and see if she still has it.

I have a free Poodle skirt over at ShareCG, if that's any use to you.

Thank you for your reply. I guess it's back to the Easter egg hunt!

I've been looking for and can't find any clothing for Star wars: The Old republic. Admittedly, the game hasn't been out quite two years yet, and some of the clothing in the game blows but the derth of any decent armored robes, or robes period that would fit the style makes me want them all the more. Hell, create a couple of sets and SELL them, i'll be the first one there screaming at you to take my money! Until then i'd really like to see someone make some high res jed/sith robes for genisis?

Is there a prop of an eye out there anywhere? Something that could be placed in the middle of a figure's forehead for example (and thus not a right or left eye).

Looks good, do you know by any chance if it's the whole eye or just an eyeball?

I would love if it if people could offer any presets they've created for Stonemason's Modular Sci-Fi Kit 01. With a preset, you still have to buy the product in order for it to work.

For example, I would love to have the columns/pillars shown in the picture below, but I haven't been able to figure out how they were created.

I happen to know that someone has mentioned making a script to do something like this. Not sure how long it would take to happen though.

Presets will only work if the person knows how to create them legally.

Perhaps preset was the wrong word. Couldn't someone just save it as a .duf file and then make that available?

I think it would be better to wait and see if the script gets created, there are so many options in this set, and I am not sure that the PA in question would be too happy at possible errors generated from people who may not know what is the right way to do things.

Of course another way of dealing with this is to approach the PA and ask him what settings he used to do that particular promo shot,

He is generally a very helpful PA, and quite approachable.

Do you remember the thread? I am searching for a thread about it and can't find one.

Apart from that: scene subsets would be perfectly legal - that's why Daz changed the scene saving - no models included, just filepaths to the models.

It was mentioend in passing in one thread, but off hand I can't remember which one.

I'm ISO something other than the Joint Editor to zero the origin points of objects somewhere in the DS 4.5 - 4.6 upgrade path the Move Origins script that was an awesome free script stopped working and I'm finding the joint editor works for some things, others it craps out on like nested objects that can't be un-parented and shouldn't be either.

I'm running short on time and having trouble finding a few freebies... Does anyone know of a hookah, a caterpillar, or a toadstool available for free?

(I thought I knew where to find these, but I didn't. Curiouser and curiouser...)

Basketball and Hoop, Soccer ball and Net, Volleyball and net, Baseball bat, ball, diamond, spectator stands etc. If anyone can point me to where I might find these items it would be greatly appreciated!

The two main sites we go to first are Renderosity:
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/index.php
Use the search function and type in what you are looking for. I typed in Basketball hoop and got this:
    http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=10533
    The second site is Sharecg:
    http://www.sharecg.com/index.php
In the upper right corner you will see a box with a magnifying glass type in what you are looking for there and it will list what is available in all their categories so you will get art as well as models. You will have to look at the description to determine if you can use that type of model in the software you have. I typed in basketball and got these:
    http://www.sharecg.com/v/7563/browse/5/3D-Model/basketball-obj-model-hires
    http://www.sharecg.com/v/43035/browse/11/Poser/The-Court

You could also do a search here in the Freepozitory and see if you find anything. In the monthly freebie contest we list the links where we get our freebies from so you might get some hits that way.

Another place to go is Turbosquid. I did a search on baseball and got this listing:
    http://www.turbosquid.com/Search/Index.cfm?keyword=baseball
As in the case of Sharecg you will have to look at the type of model to see if you can use it with your software.
