models not pixalating when I apply tattoos when rendering

As title says. I was making a fantasy flying nymph scene in a pool of water. I have two characters that come with complete sets of body tattoos as an option. Luisa for gen 8 females and the other one I forgot the name of but which also comes with a metalic bluish skin option. When I apply the meatlic skin or the body tattoos, when I render the scene in Iray the characters remain pixleated while the rest of the scene renders perfectly fine. Including the fairie wings and hair. If I use the 3d setting the characters render fine but slightly cartoonish but the waterfall comes out an oily black color while the pool of water dosn't show up at all.
Is there a way to render the scene in Iray with the meatic skin and or the tattoos and have the characters not be pixleated?

Please don't leave information in the title only https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/109161/please-put-your-question-in-the-post-body-and-the-title#latest
Do you mean that the characters have a lot of noise? Is the Iray render stopping as it is converged, or is it just running out of time (two hours by default)? If the latter, try increasing the maximum time settings (Progressive Rendering group in the Editor tab of Render Settings). If it is completing, the problem is probably that the skin accounts for a relatively small proportion of the image and the rest of the scene is converging (reaching a "finished" value) a lot mroe quickly, so the render stops with the residual noise concentrated on the skin; increasing the Converged Ratio may help, requiring more of the scene to be done, as may increasing the quality, setting the threshold higher so that the skin is more nearly done when the render stops, or you can do spot renders to a new window (Spot render tool, Tool settings pane) and save as tiff or PNG for compositing, this makes the skin a higher proportion of the render area and so means that it won't be left over in the same way. All fixes fro noise will increase render time, potentially by quite a lot.
Sorry about the info. I didn't write the post in one sitting and thought I had repeated it.
I would attach a file but there is nudity in it. Well in the very begining of the render it actually shows the characters fully rendered for a minute it or two. Then it suddenly sort of "cuts out" just the character from the scene so there is just the rest of the scene outlining where the character had been. Like a blank template of the characters form. Inside where the character was are big square pixels that NEVER render. Now today I rerendered it with normal skin on the characters deleting the tattoos and matalic skin from them but they never completly rendered. They were mostly rendered but there were many small white dots that never filled in.
It's not stopping nor running out of time when it dosn't render the characters with the skin or tattoos. I never changed the default time and the scene is usually done in under and hour or there abouts. However, last night I let the scene without the tattoos render while I was sleeping and for some reason it was taking much longer to render than with the tattoos and it is possible the render took more than two hours for some reason.
Ok first, I deleted the nudity for the most part and added the attachements so you can see what I mean.
The first attachment. If you look at the white blotch in the center of the screen. thats what I mean by it not filling in the character. I suspect you are right and it passed the 2 hour mark and thats the problem with that. Wierd because with the tattoss and the meatlic skin it takes way less time to render than without. I alosdeleted about half the background and the largets character but it took double the time or more to render.
The second attachment. See the characters and how they are just white cut outs? They are the ones in which I used the matalic blue skin. Also it definatly went past the 2 hour render mark so I am sure thats why it didn't finsih rendering the rest of the scene. If I render it in 3d delight the characters do render but the waterfalls look like a black oil and the water in the pond you can't see at all. It just looks empty and void of water. I hope that gives you a better idea of what I am talking about.
I will try your suggestion when i get a chance.
Oh, converged ratio was already at 95%. I increased it to 100% but did not try it out yet. Should I turn of the limits and increas it even further?
You need to make sure that the all material are same type as the render engine you use. So if Iray, then all material must be Iray. Those materials that are not Iray can be converted (at least basically) to Iray by applying Iray Uber Base shader. It will keep the texture maps.
Ah, you are seeing the transparency grid - if you just render a primitive in the middle of the Viewport you will get the same pattern around it. This is a bug in Iray, fixed in the version included in the 4.11 Public Build. You can work around it in the release build a couple of ways:
Thanks a lot guys. Will try this out as soon as possible. :)
DS will do this with the standard 3Delight shaders at render time anyway. Only non-standard shaders and those you intend to modify need be converted manually.
