This brought a tear to my eye. Proof that it doesn't matter what tool you use. With patience, determination and creativity you can make some truly remarkable artwork...no matter how old you are!
Truly Inspiring!
The Pixel Painter:
Hal Lasko, better known as Grandpa, worked as a graphic artist back when everything was done by hand. His family introduced him to the computer and Microsoft Paint long after he retired.
Now, Grandpa spends ten hours a day moving pixels around his computer paintings. His work is a blend of pointillism and 8-Bit art.
Meet 98-year-old Hal Lasko, The Pixel Painter.

Respect for his age and the way he stands in life.
His picture from the rollercoaster I really really liked and moved me, it looked so grand!
Thanks for showing this, it puts a lot into a different perspective.

Yep, there should be more inspiring and uplifting things like this on TV, rather than the inane drivel that makes up TV programming today.
I visited his website, his prints are going for $98. I liked the forest scene one the most.
Boy.... sure is dusty in here.... *sniff*...
Wow that was something else. Very inspiring.
That was awsome. Need more tissue. Thanks for the link.
Thank you so much for sharing that beautiful story.
