Genesis 8 Male morphs not working

Hey everyone!

Relatively new to Daz and I have 2 male characters for the Genesis 8 Male but in both cases the morphs don't apply at all.  The female characters I've tried work fine but with the males the skin textures get applied but the figure is still the base G8 male.  I see the morph slider on the right side but it doesn't do anything when I move the slider.  Actually for one of the characters it actually changes the height slightly but otherwise nothing morphs.  The default body morphs work fine.

Any ideas?

Do they use the Genesis 8 Male Body Morphs for their shaping, or one of the Name 8 figures? If so do you have that installed?

It looks like one of them says it does require the male body morphs, the other doesn't.

Ok so after spending a few days with this I FINALLY figured out the issue.

I had uninstalled and reinstalled Daz a few times and tried just manually installing the G8 Male Essentials pack but when I tried to load the character Daz would tell me there were files missing, even though I knew it was all there on my D drive.  It would give me the option to download the missing files but those would go into the cloud folder and my other morphs still wouldn't work including the male body morphs.

Eventually I copied everything into the public documents folder and THEN it all worked.  No idea why it's not loading properly from my D drive despite that path being set within Daz.

Are you sure the path iss et in the same way in DS and in Install Manager - it's easy to miss one folder out in oen or the other.
