Advanced Ambient Light: Problem

Probably I am overlooking something obvious - or I am just too dumb.
I do not find any controls for the Light. I can just change the colour and the intensity - nothing else in the parameters (or anywhere else).
Any suggestions or maybe even a solution?

Are you using the beta or the production build of DAZ Studio? Did you install manually or via DIM?

    Win 7 Professional (64 bit)
DAZ Version 4.6.0.18 Pro (64 bit)
I tried the installation via DIM and manually - no difference

There's a folder called "DAZ Studio 4.5" in the zip containing folders called "scripts" and "shaders." These two folders have to be copied into your library, too. I don't know why they're not in the Content folder.

    Greetings,
Installing via DIM acted like a software install for me. In fact, I have my content directory ('My Library') mirrored using DropBox to another system, and the Ambient Light did exactly what the OP described on the system that stuff got mirrored to. I had to re-do the install on the mirror system in order to get Ambient Light to show all the capabilities.

Essentially the 'software' part didn't get installed, is my guess.

Those need to be merged with the matching folders in the application folder - that's why I was asking if it was the beta or the release version being used.

Oh, gotcha. Well, that explains why what I did worked when I did it on my main machine (which has the application and the content library in the same folder).

    Problem solved with this solution:

I opened the zip (DIM) and installed it manually: the DAZ Studio_4.5 part in the program folder and the content in My Library, now I got them in Light Presets - Age of Armour - Ambient Light. And I re-imported the metadata and it appears in the smart content lights category.
