  • You can load the base, or a character (which will give the shape and materials), add clotning and hair, and then use File>Save As>Scene Subset to save out the assembly you wish.which can then be added to your scene by double-click.

Character morphs will either come as morphs only and be applied to a base figure (i.e. Genesis 8 Female) through sliders under the Parameters tab. Many characters also come as both morphs and textures, with the latter applied separately or from using the characters file (.duf) in the content library, which will load the base figure, the character morph and the texture all at once. The promo images that you refer to for the character, and possibly the thumbnails for the product in DAZ Studio may be clothed and have hair, but unless specifically stated in the product description, most characters will not come with either - you will basically be purchasing a bald, nude character. As Richard said, you need to add clothing, and hair after loading the figure and character.
