I want to know how to transfer (export) from Daz 3D to Poser. What does these names mean and how do they work (anyone please)
DSON Core Installer
Poser Core Installer
Thank you in advance

Poser Core means the files are already in Poser format -- just install them to a Runtime Poser knows about.
DSON Core means the files are in .duf format and you need the DSON Importer for Poser to use them in Poser.

If it has no user-facing files (just shapes for Genesis or G2F), the dials will show up in the Parameters pane when Genesis/G2F is loaded in Poser.

If it has Poser Companion Files, install both the DSON Core and PoserCF to a writeable Runtime (i.e. not in Program files in Windows Vista/7/8), and they;ll show up in the Poser library.

Thank you I understand now, there are 2 different file install types "ds" and "ps". I am trying to do a run around just to export to a program that only poser "seems" to have better support for. Not really sure why all programs don't do this as well (Poser fusion 2012) I am hoping this resolves my issue soon, I will post my results positive or not

I was very successful with what I needed to do, I used this link to make it all possible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW3I6djCJbg
I need to understand this, why cant the other programs use a similar plugin such as this: Poser Fusion 2012
