Poser & Home One

Quite some time ago I bought myself the full set of Home One by maclean. I enjoyed using for a long time. However, now I'm trying to get started again with Poser 2014 edition, but find that when I try to install Home One I'm told it can't load because I'm using a Win 7 64bit machine. It is still in my history of purchases, if I download it again onto my 64bit machine, would that sort it out. I can't really afford to buy it again. Can anyone give me a work around to sort out this problem.
Cheers

Content is neither 64 bit nor 32 bit. What are you trying to do? The File from your Products Library should install on any PC.

Have you tried running as administrator. Right Click and select run as admin. If that don't work then try redownloading it

If it's been that long since you bought it, then it'll be in the old executable installers — an .exe program. You might be having some weird permissions glitch from running the installer. Have you tried getting the new .zip installers? Or are you installing using the DIM program? Whether or not you use the DIM, most people seem to agree the new .zip installers are much easier to use, and as a bonus you also get any updates since you originally bought the goodies (and there have been one or two updates). No need to worry about "buying again", you never need to do that at DAZ.

Right. So I'll try downloading again. What's a DIM? I'll get back to you.
    Thankyou

Doh. Being thick again. Daz Install Manager. Downloading it now! So you reckon it will update on it's own?

Let me know if you get this fixed.

It's definitely not a product issue. I have Win 7/64-bit myself and Home One works fine. I'm fairly sure it's a permissions glitch.

You might want to try re-downloading anyway. There was an update to Home One Apartment in 2007 and the Living-room in 2009.

Right, I tried using the DIM, not an easy thing to use I found, so I just downloaded from my account one at a time. All came down OK, and I loaded each one individually. All is fine so far. Obviously haven't tried to use them yet, but they are where they should be, so I'm hopeful.
Thanks for all your help. I be back if it all goes pear-shaped!
    Cheers
