This week's rewards show promise except that they are almost exclusively female. I mean why is it that even when the possibilities exist and could have easily been included, the male figures still get ignored?
If they put in male products people would buy them then they couldn't say male stuff doesn't sell - just my opinion.
Maybe, all the male figures will be offered week 3 or week 4. At least I hope that is the case

Me too hoping and wishing for D5 next week. K4 Pro Bundle would still be very welcome too, just don't make me choose D5 or K4, that would be cruel. :)
I'm waiting for the males too. I did however buy a female this week, only because she was old. I have a glut of females around the middle but hardly any older ones or younger ones like teens.
For me it's a bonus and if the bar fills up great. I'm not throwing all the new releases into the cart, just the crazies, freebies at PC items and got to week one, tier two, that way. Providing they keep this format and don't tighten up towards the final weeks, I might make the mega freebie.
I was kind of hoping for a new male or some boy stuff , haha, so the points have had no influence on me
although I did achieve some awesome frowny faces
Well I was figuring on points are as a bonus ... however seeing this week's choices ... you know if all it takes is to buy "one more item" at say $1.59 in order to get a Pro package of anything, that's money well spent eh.
Yeah, I'm coming round to this opinion too.
I made Tier 1 in Week 1 and 2 pts into Tier 2 purely with things I actually wanted, so I was going to leave it at that. Then this week I'm already up to Tier 1 qualification, so I'm now wondering whether to go back and buy the 4 PC items I didn't get last week and fill Tier 2 as well, just in case the rest of this week's new items continue to interest me and Tier 2 this week proves easy to achieve. That way I'll be 2/3 of the way to the SUPERAWSOMEAMAZING grand prize at the end!
(I hope this week's new items continue to interest me, as I already have all the Bundles except one Pro where I only got Starter, so Tier 1 doesn't achieve much for me)
Same here. I was 2 points short. I went back and bought the Nurses just to make the 12 points. I have no need for them and will probably never use them. But I didn't want to miss out on the Stephanie 5 Pro bundle because I didn't spend another measly $ 3.18. And who knows, maybe the cloak will come in handy one day.
And yes, making tier 2 from last week and scoring that $6 coupon/44% discount might make this week that much easier on the wallet.
Well, I went back and bought them - like you I didn't originally see a use for the nurse, but having seen the thread on retexturing the cape, it looks like it makes a nice addition to non-medical situations.
I'm another one for whom the points are only a draw if I'm close to a tier. I was on 11 points when the "overlap" period hit, so I went and grabbed the G2F Nurses outfit. (I wasn't going to pick up any new G2F meshes if there was a Gen1 option this sale, but...)
If I end up doing something similar this week, I might actually make an effort to reach tier 2 next week. Maybe.
I already bought the Nurses outfit for both G1 and 2 ... and Chohole is working on some BEAUTIFUL textures for the cape :-)
So that's a happy deal.
Have 4 of 6 for tier one this week. Tonight I expect to clear tier one ... and then dig through the floor-boards and find enough for tier 2 lol ...
I almost gave in today with the Marrakesh bundle 2. There is only one item in it that I hadn't already got and I do want it. I did consider it, buy the one item for $1.99 or buy the bundle for $2.99 and effectively get a point for one dollar. In the end I decided not to be silly and just bought the one item.
I like to think I am not influenced by these special offers, and I haven't bough anything that I didn't really want, but I did decide a while ago that I should stop buying so much stuff just because I really want it. After a while it becomes self defeating because I spend so much time installing, categorising and trying out new stuff. I've got tutorials I haven't had time to read yet and I've mostly been doing test renders, most of which I just looked at and didn't even bother to save. I haven't actually created any decent pictures for a while now.
You mean we're not just supposed to be collecting this stuff? We're supposed "to do" something with it?! oh oh ... hehehe

I spent quite a bit this month. Finished tier 3. But, every item was something I could use. Funding has essentially run out until next month. Probably won't even be able to use the tier 3 rewards. Whatever the "Mega Prize" is, I'll be appreciative. Not everything is of use to everyone. Thank you, DAZ, for two expensive, but fun months.
I only found myself buying a few 1.99 items to make a level- this third week, since I wanted to pick up d5.
In general, the bait hasn't been sufficient for me to go to tier 2. Josie and teens hold zero interest. I MIGHT have bought her hair for the adult characters, but since I have growing up for gen2 Josie seems redundant.
So the bait has been enough for me to buy a few pc club items... But not sufficient for me to over indulge.
Weeks 1 & 2 were easy for me to get to Tier 2. I was not trying for the Mega Prize initially. Week 3 was not so interesting to me, I only made Tier 1. I hope I have enough funds left to get to Tier 2 in Week 4. My budget is limited. I am risking that week 4 will have stuff I really want at low enough prices. I could have bought stuff I didn't want that was cheap in Week 3 to qualify for the Tier 2 Mega Prize but it was stuff that I really could never see myself using.

I've purchased very little released this month, and points aren't going to make a difference when I don't use the figure most products are designed for.
And of course, odds are that the mystery rewards are products I can't use either.
Ah... found it at last! I knew I'd seen this thread early last month, but it's taken me this long to find it again!
I'm afraid that the power up points were more a deterrent than a bait for me. So I think it's time for me to say a final,
