Genesis 8 Starter Essentials?

I installed DAZ 4.10 about a week ago.  Was Genesis 8 Starter Essentials included in that install?  Or does Genesis 8 Starter Essentials provide added features beyond the default install?  Thanks.

    I don't know what exactly you installled a week ago, but the Starter Essential contains the basic figure of a generation. So currently, you don't have any figure you can load into the program, unless you have installed one of the other Starter Essentials.

    Genesis 8 starter essentials should have installed by default, why are you asking?

    @Hylas the essentials do not install automatically, though they are offered for download if you are using DIM. If you install only DAZ Studio, without the Iray or dForce Essentials, or any other essentials that come with it, you just have the program itself without any content.

    When I used the DIM to download something else I saw the essentials package waiting in DIM so I downloaded and installed it.  Now I have stuff that I didn't use to have, and stuff I used to have is gone.  As example, can no longer find Gen 2 or Gen 3 characters.

    Unless you uninstalled the G3 or G2 at the same time, installing the G8 essentials should not change that they are still there.
