Ref the attached content icons.

What do RSL and MDL mean?

Why do some icons have the white hexagonal things on bottom left corners?

    Renderman Shading Language and Material Definition Language (I think).  3Delight and IRay materials, respectively.  That white thingie in the corner is the IRay symbol.
