Entry Thread - Carrara Challenge 44 - Any Element, not Just the 5th Daz

    Winners, watch your accounts.  I've sent off the results to Daz, which ends my reign as Grand Poobah.  Thank you everyone for making it painless.

    By tradition, the new Grand Poobah is first offered to Headwax. First indication is that his annual surf trip is postponed so he can fulfill the duties.  

    Are you not familiar with the term Grand Poobah?  It is a reference to the the Flintstones because Fred and Barney were each a Water Buffalo - a men's club. The men's club leader was called The Grand Poobah.

    Here it is explained in video format, but I encourage you to search for classic Flintstones episodes.  Most are timeless.

    Hey Dart, welcome back!

    I was a bit shocked at the Challenge results.  I'm currently too busy to do multiple renders in every Challenge like the old days, and repurposed the western scene to fit this one.  Figured it would get zero votes.blush

    Many thanks to everyone who voted for my strange render.  Congrats to everyone who participated, and to Diomede for yet another excellent theme and job hosting.  Gotta thank Daz as well.

    Great to see that Britney of Daz is so amazing and efficient at processing the results.  Glad y’all got your credit.  Very grateful to Daz.

     

    Today, February 7th, is the 150th anniversary of the periodic table of elements.  A fitting day to close this one out.
