Is there any way to make the floor go on into infinity?

I use the program in order to create reference for my paintings, and it'd be really useful if I could create a horizon line of some sort, and if it could also appear in my Iray renders that'd be sick.

I am pretty new to the program, I would appreciate some insight on this.

    Aye, I was thinking the same thing yesterday, a virtual horizon line would be awesome for artists and also for compositing. Anyway this can be scripted perhaps? Bonuspoints for drawing vanishing lines ;-)

    I don't think a script would help, it needs to be somethign overlaid on the Viewport as part of the draw process - that's more a plug-in level thing.
