Python

I'm quite sure this has been asked and answered numerous times, but I can't for the life of me recollect what the answer is. I'd like to run a couple of Python scripts, but I'm at a total loss as to how. I set up my Content Directory Manager to show the Python folders, but the scripts themselves do not show. I even thought of opening the script with the Script IDE and possibly executing it from there, but no go; the editor won't even open .py files. I found a tool for my toolbar to run a selected script, but if I can't select it, then I also can't run it. UGH! I'm currently using DS PRO 4.5.1.56 64it version and need help.

There are really two obstacles - firstly, DS doesn't have a Python interpreter (though one could be added, no doubt) and more importantly even if DS could use Python as a scripting language it wouldn't, and couldn't, have the Poser function and object libraries.

Yes, as chohole says, Python scripts are for use in Poser.

DAZ Studio uses Qt Script which is very similar to JavaScript, but Python wont run in DS at all, and never has done.
