I need some expert advice from you all... I created a Darth Talon figure with a light saber (see attached). How do I make the light saber glow and emit a red light?
Change the Base Color to Red.
Set the Emission Color to Red.
Set Glossy to zero.
Set the Emission Temperature to 1000 or 1500.
Increase the Luminance until you have the glow you want.
If you want to pump up the red glow, add a Linear Pointlight with the same emission color and temperature.
You can also use emissive shaders. It's good to collect a few, such as this one:
The hallway seems to be pretty bright white, and your figure looks like she is in the dark. I recommend adding some light in front of her. If the hallway were darker, the red of the lightsabre would stand out, especially if you increased the reflectivity of the wall surfaces. Also the linear pointlight next to the sabre would create a lovely red rim light over her right shoulder.

Thank you for the help... will try these immediately!
