Loading Saved Pose Presets?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out why I can't load saved pose presets back in to DAZ.   Here's what I'm doing...

Saving the pose

1) I'll save a pose using File / Save As / Pose Preset

2) This saves a file to My Library / Presets / Poses

3) I can see the saved file in the Content Library of the DAZ interface.  I can see them in the Mac Finder.

4) I tested with a couple of poses, and a couple of animations, and they reloaded back in to DAZ without difficulty.  I'd double click on the saved pose in the Content Library and it would load in to the Viewport.

Loading the pose

A few days later, and reloading the same saved poses no longer works.  I can still save, but not reload.

When I try to reload the saved file by double clicking in the Content Manager DAZ throws up an error which directs me to the Log file, which says...

Invalid node selection for "preset_pose" type.

Trying to open the saved poses via File / Open also no longer works.  The saved files are still there, but they won't open in DAZ.

Saving an animation to the desktop using File / Save As / Scene does work.  I can both save the animation and reopen it using File / Open.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong, or my install of DAZ is broken, or if this is a DAZ bug.

Many thanks for your assistance.  This feature of DAZ is important to what I'm doing.

So you have the target figure loaded and slected (itself or a bone) when you try to apply the preset?

Thanks Richard, that's it.   I'm coming from Hitfilm and I see now that I need to retrain my brain from video editing mode.  You know, I can't load presets in to an empty timeline as if they were movie clips.  Appreciate it!
