Hopefully this is a stupid question.
Have installed light twice.
Light icon appears in Light presets.
Light loads.
Does not light and there are only about two settings color which does nothing in render
Intensity which does nothing in render
In Viewport when I change the color you can see it applied, but nothing in render.
All the settings I have seen here are are missing.
Sorry to be a bother.

    Its not a stupid question, but if you could provide a screenshot of your problem, that would help a lot. Clicking on Create-> will always create a light and will turn off the default headlight. Your scene will go dark the moment the new light is created. The new light will always start at 0,0,0 and you should at least spin the Y translation dial to raise the light so it is more visible to you.

    Also what light are you talking about?

    Since you say you've installed it and it's in light presets I'm assuming it's not one of the built in DS lights but a custom light set.

    What version of DS was the light designed for? Is it even for DS?

    If iti's a commercial product, can you give a link. If it's custom set what information can you give?
