A question for you dforce gurus :)

I have a wizard staff I'm making (see image) and I want to add some leather ties with charms at the ends right there below the leather on the grip.
Firstly: if I model caps on the ends of the laces that are meant to stay rigid themselves and set dynamic strength to 0, will they still follow the rest of the leather ties and fall with the drape (I'm seriously doubting this but thought I'd ask anyway)? Also, those caps are where I'd like to put the rigid follow nodes.
Is any of this possible? I hope I explained it correctly what I'm talking about.

No guru
but my best guess is: not possible, with dForce they will remain in place. I would think the easiest solution is to create a couple of "swing" morphs to combine with dForcing?
Try making the caps separate items parented to Rigid Follow Nodes at the end of the straps.
That's what I thought. Thanks Richard :)
