For some reason over the last few days when i try using the forum with Firefox I keep getting "error 502 bad gateway", but when I use Explorer the pages load as they should. Why has this problem started, and what can I do to resolve it?
Tools / clear recent History and it's on one of the tabs, can't remember off hand which one it is, and since I rolled my FF back a couple of versions mine isn't displaying it correctly.
Did you clear your cache to? If it's cacheing and old error it will keep showing it. You can do it by going up to Options/Advanced tab/Network Tab/ clear cache
Just cleared cache, and still getting Bad Gateway. Hmmm...
I have to go out now, but will try any other suggestions over the weekend.
Thanks for the ideas guys.
History and cache deleted. Still getting the same problem. Firefox will get me as far as the forum menus (freepozitory for example), but when I click on a thread I get the bad gateway page. Using explorer isn't a problem, but in the past FF has always seemed that ittle bit faster.
Plus things like this bug me, as there seems no ryhme or reason behind it.
Cookies. On Frank's 1st screen shot go to where it says "remove Individual Cookies" and clear the Daz cookies. Close your browser and any DAZ 3D tabs, then reboot the browser and come back to the DAZ 3D site.
Glad you got it solved eventually. DAZ_Jon did say in one post, somewhere, that some problems are due to the way FF deals with some site cookies.
I do know I had to roll my FF back a version from FF23, as that particular version actually stopped me shopping at the online grocery store where I get all my monthly orders (think one of the major High Street Supermarkets in the UK) as it was impossible to complet an order when using FF23. It must have caused them no end of problems, because they took the step of emailing all their on-line customers advising them to roll back if they were using FF23.
Being given the option to upgrade software - like browsers - is fine. But I don't like being told "upgrade or you can't use our site anymore". That really bugs me.

my problem (and fro everyone using FF23 and shopping on line at Sains...umm that particular store) was that it was upgrading that had killed the store usage, we had to downgrade until; a fix is done. I still haven't upgraded again, yet, although FF24 is out.
I've found that when I upgrade something, there's almost always a problem - like a feature of the software I like/use often is no longer included, or doesn't work in the way I like.

clear out Daz cookies in FF.
That's probably good advice, but how would I do that? Yes, that's how good I am with computers.

I just cleared recent history, but it still doesn't work in FF. But it does in explorer. Very strange.

Removing the cookies as well seems to have done the trick. Phew, I was getting really annoyed!
Thank you kindly for the help, peeps!

Damn you, technology!
