You mean https://www.daz3d.com/movie-maker-ds-4-6-edition ? It's a plug-in rather than (just) content, so presumably it adds an interface element - unfortuantely I don't have the tool to see what but check the Create and Window>Panes(Tabs) menus..
Which version of DAZ Studio are you using? Hopefully it will work with 4.8 and 4.10 and the process will begin when you "Create a new movie somethingerather"... like Richard said it could be it's somewhere up in the top left where it says "File, Edit, CREATE..." and so on, in the top left corner.
Dreamlight does some good sunlight, for instance in the Canyon Extensions for 3DL... however some of the materials shown around this, uh movie maker product are like, 10 years old.
I have only have one third-party plugin for DS - the "Look At My Hair". That one starts with a drop-down menu choice called "Create new LAMH object..." which becomes an available choice when you select something in your scene. Unfortunately that is about as far as I have gotten, so I opened a support ticket today.
I have only used one "Movie Maker" in recent years - the Microsoft one, that came in Windows XP and some version of Windows 7. These are generally pretty good I think, except here's the kicker: the newer version is completely different from the original version! Yikes.
Anyway my thinking is that the movie movie product probably has an "on" switch somewhere. And Waldemar does answer e-mail which is nice.
It's a tab pane, as Richard presumes. Menu -> Window -> Tabs (Panes) -> Movie Maker.
