I wanted to make an iconic background set that would add drama and mood to your scenes. Many films and video games use the WW1 trenches, "Sucker Punch" and "Wolfenstein" to name a few. I look forward to seeing where your imagination takes it. Of course there is always a cool WW1 scene waiting to be done.

My alternate title would be, post apocalyptic side walk. So yes I could totally see that. : )

Got it! Went scrounging at Rendo for WWI accessories & gear. It's all by Cybertenko. Only thing I have from here is Uniforms for Michael 6.

Something is on the way that looks great, not from me, so that's all I can say.

  • You've really out done yourself on this one, just brilliant !

That's Great!!! I am so glad it translates over to Carrara, it's a great program that doesn't get enough love. Thanks for letting me know and sharing your art. And nice Fokker, don't spell check that it's right.

With the Centennial Anniversary this is perfect. Thank you.

I had two Grandfathers who served in that war and always had great interest in it.

It can also serve as the trenches outside the bunkers for the "Elite Scientific Corps" of the Kaleds.  Toss in a figure with brown curly hair, a 20 foot long scarf and a "Mark 3 Travel Machine" and you're all set to depict the "Genesis of the Daleks". wink

    Sincerely,

    Bill

Judging from my test renders, this can look a lot more photorealistic than your artistic promos.

Xyer0, I'd love to see what you're getting post here if you could.

Yes sir, I have a character in my test renders that I'll see if I can crop out. If not, it'll take me a couple of days, as I'm currently rendering a large scene CPU that needs more time. But it shall be forthcoming. I hope sales are going well (I stay signed in; so, I can't see it in the What's Hot list).

Wow! All Three are great. Xyer0 the fire light look is really cool, very cinematic.

Midnight_stories, I think we are watching the same movies.Very cool!

Thanks for posting them always great to see worlds that come to life.

  • Looks great. There was a game that had a lot of time spent in the trenches and my mind went there for a moment.

Hey, Mr. AntMan! Last year, you mentioned a WWI clothing or gear set someone was developing: Did I miss it, or did it fall through?

Thanks, AntMan, I have the original Luthbel set and his sister's other textures; so I'll use that and change out the helmet to get WWI.
