Red pixels on render characters?

Those "red pixels" appear only on the character on the right but not on the left why? and how do I get rid of this problem? (Im new to 3D rendering in general)

The right figure probably has SSS set to Chromatic on it skin surfaces.  Chromatic does look better but it takes a lot long to converge.
