lip-sync / facial mocap options?

I'm not sure whether this should be here or in the commons, but is there a New Hottness for "mimic"-like capabilities? I'd prefer full facial mocap, of course, but if I could just get the lip sinc, I'd have less to do for the rest of it...

you have it already in the 32bit version of DAZ studio
you can have both installed and it doesn't take up much realestate
just save the file as an animated pose on the base figure unchecking everything but the facial pose morphs
You have... Mimic? The reason it's not in the market at a pro level is that it's been incorporated?
I'm sorry for asking the obvious, I guess. I'm so new to studio, there's an awful lot in there I don't know is there, or how to find.
I do own Mimic live which is 64 bit
but I mostly just use the inbuilt lipsync in DS 32 bit
anybody can use that
lipsync is built into the 32bit
i found a tute
your configuration dmc files are under general in your library BTW
Thank you! I was looking for the phoneme pose presets like back in the old days, and finding nothing. :)
I'll have to put a 32bit version of another machine, I guess, but that's not a big deal. :)
Hi if you own a second machine anyway
You do have the option of using the 64bit mimic live
with your pre recorded audio files.
That is what I am doing for my feature length animated film project

You can have both 32 and 64 bit versions isntalled at once.
It all seems rather obfuscatory for what has to be considered one of the most basic elements of animation, right?
Didn't there use to be dials in poser for posing the mouth, tongue, and lips into various phonemes? Am I misremembering that? I mean, I've been away for over a decade, I could be. Or has Studio just never had that maybe?
I'm hesitant to double load anything, though - I had the beta installed alongside the release version yesterday, and nothing worked with a shivering damn until after I uninstalled both and re-installed the release version. So, I'm gunshy just now. ;)
I was using lipsync 9 years ago on DAZ studio 3 as a total n00b so it cannoit be that complicated, I bought Poser 7 soon after and until this day never really mastered talk designer, I guess we just find different apps and user interfaces easier
