how to reinstall with default settings

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hi I want to reinstall Daz3D with the default settings, I got some of the paths messed up XD

But if I try it it always imports the paths I have set not the originals, what do I need to do? (I don't want to do a full windows reinstall XP)

    I think if you delete the paths (in Edit>Preferencs>Content>Content Directory Manager) it will revert to the defaults. Settings are deliberatelt not cleared by uninstalling and reinstalling.

    Nope tried it, it did nothing. I'm left with no paths. Atm I'm installing my directory second time today XD. But at least I found out that I have things multiple times on the winchester so I ended up freeing some place on my winchester.

    Well, the next option is to post screen shots of the Install Manager paths (gear icon at top-right>Installation) and DS paths (Edit>Preferences>Content tab>Content Directory Manager)

    I ended up making my own paths.


    I'd recommend for the next Daz3D update that it should have default reset options.
